I am yet to get this, and probably won't for a bit more - seeing as how I still have a Sufjan Stevens album, an Iron & Wine compilation, and The Decemberists' The King Is Dead to get through. That said, how much, exactly, will I be missing out on the longer I delay?

in an attempt to answer such a subjective question:

first time I listened to this, I was like "hmm alright"

second time, "wait a sec..."

times three through forty, "sooo good. soooooo gooooood ahhhh"

it's pretty awesome. chances are it might not hit you so hard, especially right at first, because people have hyped it up so much (though I say it definitely deserves it). but I think within a couple listens it will have as much of a dopamine releasing effect on you as it always does on me.

Okay. Thanks folks! Seeing as how I want to curry Transient's favour and have dopamines running through my blood, I will make it a point to get this the next time I go to town.

If I don't like it Imma eat you both. Like a bowl of nachos.

Without a doubt the single most inspirational album ever. Sometimes life sucks then you hear "Well it's alright the way that you live, It's alright the way that you live." and it's better. And not in some pretentious hipster way, it actually gets better.

Patrick is always good for some fiery quotes.

"I hated the tour. It made me furious throughout. I didn't think that we were treated at all

with the respect that we deserved, not even the respect as saying, 'We're an important punk band,' but

respect that we're human beings."
