Yeah, heard a lot say that about the Wall on this site, unfortunately. But each to his own, it's a super-nostalgic album to me (so is this) - the two Floyd albums I grew up with, seeing as my parents are crazy fans as well

this and animals, in their own ways, are two of the most ingenious and creative albums I've ever heard easily.
I like a lot of stuff on the wall, I just think it wavers and loses focus and momentum too much. still a really good album

Yeah hell yeah this was the album my parents played most when I was growing up, totally plays into my love for it
Except you can't really be biased in liking music, because there's no objectivity that you're blocking out (which is what bias is)

Nothing is objectively good or bad, whether you 5 it or 1 it isn't right or wrong, just your opinion
Some albums are "generally" considered great (or terrible), but that just means it appeals to a wide (or narrow) range of people and their tastebuds. The fact DSOTM appeals to millions of people of different ages and cultures doesn't make it good, it just means it has wide appeal for whatever reason
