They start recording their new album on February 14th. I can't wait til this Summer for it to be released!

Someone should probably add this to the news section because I'm too lazy to do it.

Well, in that case, you're right! No one cares at all about August Burns Red. Gosh, I sure don't know what I'm talking

about. I bet no one on Sputnik has ever even heard of August Burns Red!

I feel the prog coming on next release. And if it doesn't, I'll be disappointed.

because it'll be boring

I mean, if they combined their slow-burning post-rock sound that they've been working on those Christmas tracks and Meridian with some of the more outlandish technical parts on 'Ocean of Apathy' and 'Rationalist', I honestly think they could create something really engaging and original.

I just don't want them to be bound by their metalcore label, I guess. They mellow out well and could really tread some ground if they play it smartly.

They've matured a lot since Messengers, I hope they continue to do so.[2]

true.On messengers, except Truth of a Liar and Composure, which were clearly the album's highlights, the rest of the songs were decent.

On Constellations, every single song sounds unique and the album's at least great

I assume you mean O Come O Come, right? Carol of the Bells is not slow-burning at all...

Haha, I did that on purpose. But it's true - the end of 'O Come, o Come' was very inventive and out of the box for them and that entire song is, for them at least, quite slow-burning.

I don't remember what 'Little Drummer Boy' sounded like but I think it was in similar vain, wasn't it?

it was post-metally but in a different way. like, drop-A sludgy chugging overlayed with pretty guitar lines and broken up with post-rocky parts. it also had slide guitar, woot
