Screamo is emotive hardcore, which means they have all their roots in hardcore punk, and a lot of bands today mix their sound with post-rock, but its still screamo. Converge are metalcore, which is a blend of the technicality of metal and the intensity of hardcore. They just happen to also be emotive.

Oh haha those aren't really my words, there was this guy who was here for a while who posted a review of this giving it a 1 and using a geometric proof to show that CTTS needed to be rated a 1. Idk if it's in the one that's still up, but in his original version he said the vocals sounded like a cowardly faggot. I actually thought it was fairly accurate.
