I think Chad is far and fucking away the best part of this album, and I make that declaration with every awareness of what Ryan and Matt were doing. He's an absolute maniac. Truly virtuoso performance that I think may have ruined him forever trying to perform it live on that album cycle. (2)

That Live in Peoria DVD is insane. Dude put everything in to those performances. Definitely seemed like it was taking an emotional toll.

Walked out of their mosh in 2001 with a broken nose and blood spitting everywhere.

Good times

Haha nice. I unfortunately didn’t get to see them until The New Game tour — and they were great, but would have loved to see them on the first two album tours.

Live in Peoria is probably a top 3 live dvd for me.

Shit idk what even hangs. LiveCrime and Cunning Stunts are the only ones off the top of my head. Maybe Live From the Apocalypse.

Yeah it wasn’t a bad setlist at all. Got to meet the band afterwards as well so it was a good night. Chad was all sweaty as fuck from wearing that weird fur costume during the show lol.

LP's Live in Texas is great too. So weird that Linkin Park's classic-era live DVD is a show where they were 3rd of 5 on the bill lol.

Yup! Pretty sure it was Mudvayne-Deftones-LP-Limp Bizkit-Metallica, right?

I LOVE dull boy, but fish out of the water is not a good first impression of the rest of the album.

Never got to see Mudvayne either. Very sad. I was really into them more than other nu metal bands. I considered them above nu metal lololol

I saw that tour at RFK in DC. Metallica was seriously impressive, for not being a huge fan of theirs.

LP live in Texas brings the memories hard. But the moment I noticed that the live footage was spliced with multiple live performances it kinda broke my heart.

I imagine it had to be. No way they played a set that long at 3rd on the bill right?

And yeah, Metallica was on fucking fire back then. I'm a bigger apoligist than most for Load era 'Tallica.

I guess it makes sense now, I was a lot more young and naive back then haha. I remember it was a different coloured guitar showing up in the same song that set it all off
