For the most part, it's just shitty covers that sound exactly like the originals but considerably worse. The Crown the Empire cover is the worst, the Palisades cover is easily the best, and everything else ranges from painfully mediocre to almost interesting enough to be worth existing. The Asking Alexandria cover is terrible, which is pretty disappointing because their most recent album isn't too bad.

I wasn't really in a place musically to enjoy this when it was released (I was mired way down into black/ambient metal). I did pick it up a few years afterwards though and it falls right into the 'just press play' type of albums.
Having watched a bunch of the 'Black Parade' performances that is one concert I really wish I had seen back in the day. Too bad they didn't do a 10th anniversary tour like that; band would have cleaned up.
