One of the reasons I'm a fan of the band. One man's trash is another man's treasure I suppose.

Ohms is great but it sounds like a band on autopilot to me. It’s got some gems tho, I love Genesis, Urantia, Error, Radiant City, and Headless. The title track is really the only song on there that sounds like something they wouldn’t normally do. Someone made a mastodon comparison and I hear that.
I still think the bridge buildup in Genesis is one of the most beautiful moments in their discog

I love Ohms but it’s not something I pull out a ton. But when I do, I always think it’s better than I even remembered.
Still, amongst Deftones discog, it’s lower tier. Cliche, but that’s only a testament to how great their other music is, not to Ohms being underwhelming.

After listening to this album at least once daily in December, I can certify it is their 4th best album only surpassed by WP, ATF, and DE
