SOAD playing with a Deftones in Toronto next September.
Presale is a couple of days, going to have to check the price of tickets

$200 minimum id guess. That’s what I spent for a solo Deftones headline, and those seats are barely good.

Can already envision how insanely expensive those tickets are gonna be

$200 minimum [2] easily
The king crimson Beat band tour is like $100ish for nosebleeds and those blokes aren’t even mainstream

“Support your local venues and artists”
Best reason to get into underground music. Paying $30 for a ticket is considered expensive lol

fuckin love that song. i actually wrote a poem for one of my classes that conflates the main idea of that song with the "prayer" part from Goodbye Sober Day by Mr. Bungle ("May your sky be rolled up like a scroll, may your blue moon drip with blood")

Saw SOAD with Incubus and Mr. Bungle on SnoCore tour 2000.

Holy hell, that must’ve been awesome. That was the heyday for all three of those bands.

You cannot convince me that this album isn't just the same song 13 times over and over.
There are good riffs and catchy choruses and all but I find the songs on this album hard to evaluate because so much of it sounds pretty much the damn same. There's such little variation in riffs, guitar tone, singing style etc... None of the tracks really have much of an identity or do much to make them stand out and feel unique and interesting. The same also applies to Toxicity.
