"Yeah that plastic daisy line might be the worst vocals I have ever heard, I literally lol'd the first time I heard it"
Me too.
My fiancee used to listen to Avenged Sevenfold all the time and she asked me to turn it off...

That's why I'm single, no one to tell me to turn my shitty dm off

Cosmic so good damn I guess it's my turn to be addicted to it. Crazy wholesome-sounding too during the last big part
I think that song owes a lot to King Crimson. The first crescendo after the ~3:00 minute mark totally feels like something you'd cook after feasting on Island's t/t. Lonely horns, symphony, tender lyrics and all. And I'd also add that when the drums enter at the beginning of the song they remind a bit of something Bruford could have improvised (think The Mincer)

Mattel just works so perfectly. feels like classic avenged but also just something so different/only for an album like this

Yeah, fuck the daisy haters. Mattel is perfect. Mattel and Cosmic are the two huge takeaways from this album.

oh yes I’ve found my people.
Cosmic is goated, literally my favorite avenged sevenfold song atm. Not pretending like I’ve listened to a ton of Pink Floyd but I remember hearing that song was influenced by them too? At least until the vocoder outro?
Idk like I said I’ve heard maybe 5 Pink Floyd songs in my life, one because our boys covered one and another because of the sopranos lol

The "daisies" line actually works pretty well in the context of the song's subject matter. Never had a problem with it tbh

the lyrics for Game Over are more haunting than I'd like them to be honestly

The bridge of Beautiful Morning might just be the most Bungle-ish thing on the entire album, which is funny because it's on one of the most conventional songs overall
