I've really become to appreciate post-rock these days. In fact, I'm becoming infatuated. I stumbled upon this to give it a try. I

was really excited by the great ratings I saw, but damn. Am I weird? This is very weird. Like it has a decent story I guess, but

for about 90% of the album I felt like I was listening to silence. If I wanted to hear silence I would turn off the TV. Or go to

sleep. Or something. This is majorly overrated.



And "East Hastings" reminds me of Titanic. Another reason to hate it.

Haha. I am not a troll. I have ears and I like to use them. There was nothing to this album. I felt like I was being read to. You just gonna go out and give every audiobook a "classic" rating. Go ahead. But there is much more talent out there in the post-rock world. I mean, even where there were instrumentals on this album they weren't that good. Kinda annoying really. I still have the bagpipe tune going in my head.

Lol. K. My thoughts with this album. The only thing that gave it a 2 is the fact that it was dealing with the end of the world. Which I thought was a neat topic. But it just didn't get me the way I thought it would. Wayyy too much space. They could've condensed it and made it much shorter and it wouldn't have been as bad.
