linkinmuse, you are an enemy of the entire state of Sputnik. Do not try to use your mind games on those that you think do not know better.

Imagine using time to dislike this in 2019.

Imagine liking random third-rate indie garbage and not liking this.

Turns out I can't actually imagine any of those things.

Used this as a soundtrack to run in the park, I even took an extra lap since the record wouldn't end, but nostalgia hit pretty hard.

Still number 1 RHCP. Mellowship is such an incredible track.

On day 9 of my self-isolation due to international travel within the last 2 weeks. I can't believe I had the record to pull me out of the bad mood I've had all this time.

Never appreciated this when I was younger, aside from Under the Bridge. Glad thats no longer the case.

Easily best RHCP. It’s really their only consistently great album.

By the Way too, maybe. But this is still much better than that album

Partly disagree. By the Way IS their best album. By far the most mature, heartfelt, emotional and some of their strongest songwriting.

Their 2nd best album imo. Though it does have a bit too much filler.

I’d put BSSM in third. Solid, but overrated imo. Or maybe it’s just played out for me. When this thing came out, I heard it so. Fucking. Much. And MTV played the videos CONSTANTLY.

Yup, that under the bridge video is terrible and it was on constantly.

Yup. One of the most overplayed songs in existence. For that era of RHCP, I far prefer Soul to Squeeze, one of their best songs — and evening though it was overplayed, I don’t get sick of it.

Watched the "Funky Monks" documentary the other day. Man, these guys were on a heck of a trip when they were starting to blow up in the early 90s. Worth a watch for sure. Uncut on Youtube right now.
