Love the new Deafheaven direction. Sounds like Diiv-Heaven hehehe you got the joke right? Overall since i love shoegaze and post-black metal at the same time i'm okay with their more shoegaze style than black metal and it's give me have a choice to listen the blackgaze album or shoegaze album which is good for my listening mood

I like this a lot as a nice album but not really what I wanted from Deafheaven if that makes sense?

At some point this month I’ll finish a long overdue review for last years debut by Corps Fleur which is what I wanted to hear from Deafheaven!

I’m liking MOL. Excited for their new album. This is something I’d always wanted Deafheaven to do and I think it’s their best since Sunbather easily. But MOL sounds like their heavier days.

I like In Blur and The Gnashing a lot as well. The rest of the tracks are nice, but not standout imo.

I had it on in the background whilst cooking and thought I was listening to American Football's LP3 but less interesting

Surprising lack of people who think Mombasa is a standout track.

One of their most breathtaking songs ever, and a perfect closer honestly.

Nobody asked you and they never do, yet you continue to be annoying in almost every thread. Remarkable.

You know how some albums are "growers"...

This is a shrinker. Gonna have to drop. I like what they're doing but it's fairly forgettable

Yeah, changed. This album is good. Not great. Not excellent. I'll admit I was wrong when overrating this at first. Has next to no staying power after several listens
