I thought Meshuggah was boring at first too, you’ll get reeled in eventually if you keep listening.

Gotta agree on Meshuggah being fairly boring. Sacrilegious, I know

Meshuggah can be pretty boring tbh, I can't listen any of their records from beginning to end. I do love a lot of their songs tho.

When the breakdown hits in honeysuckle and you think it can't get any heavier but then they break down the breakdown

This album may just rise to a 5 for me. It really is the perfect way or a band to go out: paying an homage to where they came from while still remaining fresh and interesting. I don't always jam this, but when I do...

do it

Most consistently amazing band ever, even their debut EP doesn’t suck. They deserve all the praise

I remember coming home drunk putting on some TDEP (I started to get used to them outside of some songs like Prancer or Milk Lizard) and when the breakdown of Honeysuckle started, I totally went nuts and started to love this band.

One of the filthiest breakdowns I've ever heard, Lord I wasn't ready

I fucking love that little scream Greg does before that final break down in Honeysuckle. Also agreed about Fugue being very out of place. I hate that track

I don't know why, but I always laugh at "AND THEY'RE OPEN REAL LATE

AND I BELIEVE THAT WE SHOULD GO"

Just the delivery and lyrics for some reason, just gets me
