it made my day. I have 4 left that I'm saving for after work. I enjoyed everything quite a bit thus far but I also loved ArSe on first listen and that dropped kinda hard for me.

I am hoping it is just better than ArSe, which I think it will be because I have enjoyed all the singles significantly more than anything off ArSe

Into The Sunset was the most different of the DGD closers, perhaps the most strikingly different song in their catalog as a whole (save for my Count Bassy), Chocolate Jakelope vibes

I think this will hold up better than ArSe, it's generally catchy as shit, especially the first half. After Strawberry's Wake is where it gets more experimental, still par for the course DGD but less of a pop focus. my biggest complaint is that Tilly and Jon just need to sing together/back to back more. Night Sway was awesome but felt disjointed for example.

Also Nothing Shameful had some AS vibes and that's always worth pointing out.

hope ya'll missed Will's rapping

Into The Sunset is muuuuch better than Evaporate and I feel like that's gonna be my most controversial opinion about this.

Evaporate should have been monumental but in the end I just kinda shrugged at the entire album. I really don't know what it was about that album that I have just been so indifferent to considering how much I love every thing else.

i will admit he has his moments but i think hes ultimately a net negative for the band. also doesnt help that theyve really settled into a groove so im sure that has something to do witgh it

The new songs with him doing little screams on them are badass. I dont mind Tillian, I agree they need to break their mold a bit ... with their lineup being more stable things have kind of set in. At least they aren't august burns red level of putting out the same thing over and over.
