This review nails why this is so good (apart from the music obvs.) This record is truly of its time and place insofar as the time in place it's of has absolutely no identity. Otherwise it's completely stuck out of time, completely separate from the indie rock machine of the 2010's. If the darkest corners of the universe shat out an album without any knowledge of modern society, it would sound like this

Something kind of intoxicating about this album, the entire aesthetic, the album cover, the title, the weird riffs and the guys voice, there's something going on with the album, there's something to it that is indescribable. I always feel like listening to it.
