nothing is particularly catchy, the vocals oftentimes sound great but are way too subdued to have any huge impact, and it's extremely repetitive. even some of the prettier moments like when you dream don't sound like they're fully fleshed out. and i hate that i see it as such, because apparently this is one of the best albums ever. objectively, it's a very important/influential recording, and i would never deny its cultural relevance, but i'm basically forcing myself to love it as much as you all do at this point =[

the vocals aren't meant to be catchy, they're purposely subdued and are meant to sound dreamy. that said, there are tons of catchy vocal lines scattered across this album.

keyblade: i meant catchy in that none of it really sticks. i don't find myself randomly humming along or replaying any moments in my head. and i get that the vocals are supposed to be subdued, but to the extent that they are? they just fade into the background in a hazy and kind of sloppy way. not trying to say you guys shouldn't love the album or anything, just addressing my gripes with it.

no leaks whatsoever. it's impossible to confirm that, but it's very likely it'll drop soon on the their website for download, with physical stuff coming in a bit after. i'm expecting it to suddenly pop up any day this week but who knows. it's definitely confirmed that it's complete in every way other than titles and maybe art, and they said they're all really pleased with how it turned out. supposed to have a lot of belinda, and a lot of "surprises"

aw man that's the best part of the vocals. they way they fade into the haze and fuzziness.
like joe said give it time. i didn't really "get it" all that much myself when i was getting into it. try sleeping to it, that might change your opinion on it :D
