Yeah Chester sings well in robot boy. Speaking of robot boy, the piano riff is amazing. Simple, yet great

Mike and Chester both ruin this album for me tbh.

The atmosphere this brings is that of tin foil and broken dreams...and overproduction.

"blackout proved otherwise"

Yeah, Blackout is the only weak link, which I can only surmise they did to create a more diverse record with Mike singing as well as rapping.

catalyst is probably the best song here. the filler traks are what bogges this album down. empty spaces is absolute garbage

Catalyst is alright but it's pretty much radio rock, blackout at least experiments. And empty spaces is pointless but is that annoying to sit through 18 secs of it? The first two tracks set the album up really well I feel and jornada del muerto is just plain amazing

blackouts experimentation just doesn't work well. everything comes together in the end, but you have to wait through a trainwreck to get there.

man, this album is absolutely dividing. a lot of people really don't like this, but at the same time, a lot of other people praise it. interesting record that way

This record overall is just a hot mess. I'll give them that that at least tried something different with this but it fails on so many levels.

Half the songs on here are brilliant but I'm left just wishing there existed band who did this sound but...better.

Couldn't agree more, the production on this album and the style of the music is amazing, it's just the songwriting that stops it being perfect

Yeah, hybrid theory and meteora obviously give major nostalgia willies though. Hunting party is probably their best 'musically'

kinda interested in what they do next. hunting party showed some signs that they may actually turn into something no one really expected.
