I disagree with some of you - I think this, Ghost Reveries, Damnation, and Still Life are all better than Blackwater Park. The songwriting on certain tracks here is unrivaled by the band imo.

I think part of the reason why I frequently put Blackwater Park down when discussing it is because of how popular it is. I actually do enjoy that album, but I don't get why people think it's their magnum opus.

Bwp was a slightly watered down Still Life. That album was their magnum opus imo.
