You mean the best song on the album? That Divination?

I think the consensus is that the run from Leviathan to Bodega Head is flawless so it is Palo Santo and Blood Moon that needs the luv

The asshole in me wanted to be a contrarian and stiff this, but it really is one of the best albums I've ever heard in this genre. Cleans slightly bugged me at first but then after listening to Bodega Head, I realized that they kinda reminded me of a young Stephen Brodsky.

Speaking of that song, Bodega Head is a genre triumph.

Wow, very caught off guard by this album. Clearly I have been sleeping on State Faults. Will be getting many more listens but on first blush this is an easy 5

The ones that stick for me are Blood Moon, Palo Santo, No Gospel and Divination. All the tracks are brilliant but those in particular are standouts.

"Bodega Head is a genre triumph" (2) Hard agree

And yeah the opener as well is perfect, but then again this is as perfect as it comes

yea as time has gone on divination overtook no gospel for me, although seeing no gospel live is probably the coolest shit ive ever witnessed (they sadly did not play divination)

I would literally shit my pants if i heard No Gospel live. But in the future they should include bongos!

Bodega Head is a cool pick for song of the year, my man

will not forget the apprehension I felt on hearing the first two singles being assuaged by the "AH!" that hit me halfway through Divination
