I didn't do that either, blame the game and not the player.

On the subject of skramz, would I like iwrotehaikus... or whatever the hell it's called? RYM's all-time screamo charts tell me I should maybe check.

My vote for Tool wasn't even begrudging; I am a bad person. Be-[The]GRUDGE-ing.

Voted for ABBA. For the memes, not to be contrarian to Tool, but because it's funny lol and ABBA wrote some awesome songs

Colors II unfortunately didn't grab me. I was mad hyped but the second half DRAGGED for me. Loved the first 5 or 6 tracks.

This would easily be my AOTY if not for my first love, Sweet Trip

Yeah, this is still in my constant rotation. Other Language grew on me so hard, kinda reminds me of Near.

I'm starting to understand people's complaints about the production though, when the crescendos rise and explode the walls of guitars almost sound overbearing. Whoever produced this did a great job on the gazey side, but the heavy parts sound kind of blown out, at least in my car speakers

Colors didn't grabbed me, too much prog-wankery style, not the kind of prog I usually like.

I keep listening to this almost every day and the opinion still stands, I really like it.

BTBAM has been the kind of prog wankery i don't like for too long, i completely wrote them out years ago and will never listen to Colors 2. Colors 1 already sucked.

Colors 2 is meh. And yeah I revisited Colors 1 recently. I guess that isn’t my scene anymore. This however is still lovely all these listens later. I honestly thought BTBAM sounded best with Coma Ecliptic. Guess I’ve mellowed out in my 33 years. I can’t deal with all that circus organ and kitchen sink bullshit. Maybe if I was 20 in 2007. But not now.

Sweet Trip is good. Love that album.
