Listened to this again in preparation for the new one and I was maybe a little harsh on it before, it has some nice riffs, nice builds, interesting segments etc. I'd still prefer the cleans to be used more sparingly, particularly when you have a track like the closer that was crying out for some harsher vox towards the end. The orchestral flourishes just made me appreciate how incredible A Dawn to Fear's production really is - the keys here sound so weak here and although the strings are a nice touch, they kind of fade into the background due to the mixing.
