yeah, unfortunately the world we live on is that even if the victim has proof, more often than not their lives are only further ruined when the accusations come out. victims have literally nothing to gain from accusing someone, and they have more to lose than most of us would ever realize. i mean how many times have we seen accusations blow over in less than a week? the victim has to live with the trauma and with the abuse that comes with accusing someone - especially someone famous.
