@OmairSh My thoughts exactly. I always have fun with it, and some amazing songs to be found here, but it lacks the refined feeling of latter albums (bass sounds incredible, though)

Not even one inch overrated to me. A complete experience, from one high point to the next. The tracks stand tall both individually (When, The Amen Corner, April Ethereal being some of their all time best) and as a whole. Completely love this.

I feel like this album has the best atmosphere of all their albums (along with BWP, Morningrise & Orchid)

Yeah indeed! Plus the atmosphere fits the story perfectly. I think everything on this one works, it's all exactly in place, and it still feels alive and has lots of soul and is very genuine.

Undoubtedly, if this is an album to rate at 3.5, then that speaks volumes.

No way was this a carbon copy of Morningrise!!!!!! This is much leaner, heavier, less organic/mysterious, more head-on and with much tighter songwriting. I think Morningrise and this differ more from each other than this and Still Life for sure.

Well I guess we don't agree then! I do think it's heavier, I don't think it's more atmospheric, I do think the songwriting is so much more focused than on Morningrise, and Still Life uses this same approach to songwriting. Still Life is a little cleaner than this, but that's about it. Compared to that Morningrise and this are worlds apart.

I agree, songwriting is more focused on here than Morningrise, and Still Life sounds more tight. They're all different from each other and I love them all.
