God dammit, those ironic hipsters insulting arcade fire, rush and linkin park and praising reggaeton which is noise for the snapbackers and crackheads of latin america are the biggest proof of the cultural downfall of western civilization. Read a fuckin book or two and expand your vocabulary, lololololo

They still have three of the greatest albums of the millennium though, they definitely belong more with the 00s indie generation than the 10s

Revisiting this makes me realize how much better CD2 is from CD1. Much more carefully arranged than the messy CD 1

CD 2 is very consistent yea. It's Never Over is amazing and Supersymmetry is an excellent, underrated song of theirs.

Second cd is flawless. Supersymmetry is easily one of the best of their discography. I mean we know the first half from Her and the last half could fit right into 2001 A Space Odyssey or even Under the Skin. Don’t even get the hate for real. It’s a mammoth of a track. Normal Person is the only real misstep here but I overlook it. It’s okay except for the chorus which is pretty bad but this is still a 5. Especially cuz of the last disc and honestly if LCD Soundsystem sounded like this I’d love em.

“Flashbulb Eyes” is probably my favorite, but the whole last disc is too and “Joan of Arc” and “Here Comes the Night Time” gets flack but it’s stellar too. I wonder how they can take a similar dance approach for Everything Now but just completely smear it to crap, but somehow they just do
