Untrue has Etched Headplate and Archangel

That's enough for me

Still, this thing is awesome

this feels a lot more atmospheric to me than Untrue, which is a large part of why i dig it.

my favourite releases for both 2011 and 2012 were 4.5 EPs

I think I prefer EPs tbh. I can't keep my attention on albums that go into 13 tracks/55 minutes

unless absolutely everything is stellar. generally there's boring stuff to sift through

I think the weeknd's mixtapes, or for emma forever ago, are the exact length I prefer- 8-10 tracks.

full of ideas but not dragged out and spread about so they're diluted. all the focus put on creating

a select group of individual, unique and high quality tracks

35-45 minutes or so is my preferred length. But if the album is consistent I don't mind it going on for 70 minutes or so.

I like longer tracks that wind on in their own personal journey too. like here

honestly I downloaded madvillainy the other day but the song format looks like the exact opposite of what I usually enjoy

all the songs are really short yeah but they're so damn enjoyable and the album flows so nicely that i don't mind.

it's really one long 45 minute ( i think) journey through the mind of Doom, only with amazing Madlib beats

"this is for the underground and trains

mezzanine is for city night walks"

Dude, I live here: http://www.germanwineroute.com/pics/southern/palace-ludwigshoehe-1024.jpg

(not that house but that's what the region here looks like)

I don't have trains I could be riding at night, even less so undergrounds. This is my equivalent, the next BIG cities are Frankfurt or Stuttgart which are at least 100km from here.

"I think I prefer EPs tbh."

Also somewhat have to agree with this, it depends. But I dig a few EPs from artists of which I didn't like the LP that came before. And sometimes EPs are just so consistent.

Well, we have cities. They're just small and nothing like you'd picture a really "urban" environment. More old timey and shit. I mean it might fit Karlsruhe but I'm not gonna drive an hour to another federal state just so I have a good ambiance for listening to Burial.

it was kaya scodelario (was literally up for about 2 minutes and you managed to slip that question in,

lol) and she was just meant to pull a face or whatever

the german countryside looks really pretty from what I've seen. I don't find the towns and cities that

interesting though, no offence. I went to a german market once too and the vast majority of what was

being sold was either meat or wooden carvings. got bored quick

I'm a fast nigguh yo. And who in the name of Ganesha's 3rd arm is Kaya Scodelario? And from where the fuck do you know all these "not-celebrity" good looking chicks?

"the german countryside looks really pretty from what I've seen"

Best thing about living in Germany's Italy. (we have shitloads of sun, hills everywhere and an abundance of wine)

Probably more woodland though, but yeah - landscape here is chill as fuck.

Haha, no offence taken. It probably depends on the city (and whether it actually is one), due to our history there can be subtle up to huge regional differences.

(I wouldn't have taken offence either way since I plan to move to an English speaking country anyway)

Anyone who watched the first few series of Skins (i.e. the vast majority of my generation) knows her

and they're quite well known where they come from anyway. I guess it just doesn't get filtered through the world-network-of-media
