Pointedly insulting people as edgily as possible then retreating like this behind "offended by WORDS" is so bitch made.

I mean... We are getting offended by the phrase "mental illness". Even in the context... Come on now.

lol. Crazy how easily fragile and upset some people are. It’s 2025, nobody cares if you’re offended anymore. Back to the point at hand….this album sucks.

When did I ever say I was "offended"? (Please link/quote the comment because I surely don't see it.) You have to first care what someone things to be offended by them.
I was more or less indirectly reiterating the fact that it's impossible to take anyone seriously who immediately resorts to ad hominem for zero reason whatsoever.
But, uh, sure, no one's stopping you from crafting your own narrative from thin air if that's what bricks you up, big boy.

I mean we're on a pretty stupid corner of the internet but keep in mind it's only in places like 4chan where calling someone mentally ill could be considered normal and inoffensive.

If you use the term "beta cuck" with sincerity, I know to never take you seriously

today is i think the first time i've ever listened to junior dad in full. every previous time i've attempted to listen to this album i've shut it off before then
as the last track on what ended up being the last lou reed album... what a great fucking song to go out on

yeah "junior dad" is actually a great song and it's the one time where reed's vocals actually work with the song. musically it's also some of Metallica's most ambitious work.

This album is the equivalent of handing a 14 year old, who has all of one month of music theory classes taken and spent 30 minutes reading over r/Philosophy and thought he had a Descartes "I think, therefore I am" moment, a giant check to do whatever he wanted in a recording studio. Probably at some point unironically said "Yeah, this is deep" somewhere along the line too.
