Finally got to this today and yeah it’s fantastic but I’m not sure it’s better than their previous. Also that snare sound is garbage.

Yeah if these fine folks release like 3-4 more albums of this quality I’d probably give them the nod for my favorite bm band ever.

This shit riffs so hard - only release alongside the new Together to the Stars that has successfully pulled me out of my Olivia Rodrigo obsession

Never been big on Bodom and the influence here is cranked up big time as well as the punk vibe being almost nonexistent. This is probably my least favorite from them but it does still rule and is growing on me

Yeah nothing will top the raw, punk energy of the early stuff for me I think but I still look forward to everything these guys put out

kinda agreeing with garas on the prod, it sounds a tad neutering. I'm no Bodom fan either.

still, this manages to bring the fun at points, regardless of any reservations. I do like the way they incorporate j-rock ish style melodies

Also, I still hear a decent amount of punkiness going on, mostly with the drums and some of the background effects, though admittedly I don't know that much about punk.

Three tracks in this is freaking amazing. These guitars are SOARING like a mthrfckn space eagle.
