This is a band i wish i could have or got/get into more. Even in my metalcore days i could barely get into them. I did like found in faraway places for a hot minute but it never stuck

@Ectier When I was getting into metalcore around 2004-2005, ABR was one of those band that sounded different from their peers to me. They were a bit more technical and melodic at the same time and they had their own touch/sound. I always dug that. They became my favorite metalcore band and I followed them ever since!

This band is arguably one of the first metalcore acts I really got into and were one of my major breakthroughs into heavier music. I'll never forget seeing their video for Composure on headbangers ball

Yea hearing Composure for the first time as a core fan was like a caveman discovering fire for the first time. Instantly hooked me in.
