thought this was dec but not as good as i was hoping off the lead single. bit of a step down from their last one but it's still Immo - the face of consistency in Death Metal. their step down is still pretty fecking good

My revised opinion is that this is maybe only a tiny smidge beneath Acts of God. Shit rips harrrrrd. Been revisiting it multiple times a day, that's a great sign. Might bump to 4.5

My main problem with Acts of God is that it doesn't have to be like 15 fucking tracks for this kind of music

I always get a little drained towards the end

butt.

"My problem w Kingdom is the stale production"

Unholy Cult has iffy production and nobody bats an eye

I like this a little more than Unholy Cult and Acts of God. Something about it is just extremely cutting and hellish. Banished rolling into the title track is *chef's kiss

If we're talking about iffy production for immolation, failures for gods drives me nuts. The drum production makes it basically unlistenable for me

Yee I put it in the same category as Ityhphallic by Nile. Great riffs, shitty production.

Fair. To me the album is so good that i can bear the production, songwriting is too strong

It does rule hard, but the production blows.

Failures is one the better immolation records tbh. Production is kinda strange but it gives it charm. That album is a easy 4 all day

I can tell it's not great, but it personally doesn't really bother me either.

It's not like And Justice For All where an entire member is missing

Oh Ive heard way worse production yeah. The failures production never bothered me either and the songs more than make up for it. Breeding the spawn is the album that actually has terrible production lol it rules to tho.
