But I get how first impressions can really damage you enjoyment from any particular set of songs. That's why track lists and flow is so important.

I just hate the entire vibe of this album. I'm not into the alt metal/indietronica mixture at all. I did enjoy the last one, but only to a certain extent. I feel like the ideas were way more fleshed out on Wildhund than they are here. This whole thing just feels super messy to me and I absolutely hate the vocals. As others have mentioned, it reminds me so much of Owl City and it just turns me off lol.

i agree wildhund is far from their best release but i like it, and these songs are more in line with the syle of that album

I have been getting back to this over the weekend.
I hadn't listened to Wildhund at all either so it's been fun to compare both.
And so far, I far prefer this one to Wildhund. Funny how a couple of posters mentioned the flow, I think it's great as it is.
