Another Bad Day is the only real clunker on here imo. The rest vary from average to great. Love the influence from countdown and youthanasia I am hearing on most of the non-singles. The RTL bonus is getting to much hate, the sped up tempo is nice, the clarity in production makes it very different than the original and it’s Dave reclaiming his song to cap the career off.

agreed - add those two and eliminate another bad day and ride the lightning and we have ourselves a solid 4

This was a rough listen, also made me realize that the only other Megadeth album I haven't heard was Risk so can't wait for that.

Update: Enjoyed Risk way more than I enjoyed this

"Can't wait for his dad-rock solo album approx. 3 years from now"

would be more interested in that rather than this, tbh...

A few more listens and I can only rly get behind Tipping Point. Same as last album - only dug We'll be Back. And funnily enough they're actually very similar songs

Was good for the first 2-3 songs, turned annoying, I Am War was good again and the rest was passable.

'this is growing hard'

Has grown on me enough to maybe make their top ten albums.

Only two of 'Endgame', 'Dystopia' or this would make the top ten....

This album could use some revisitation, there are some poor choices that could have been avoided but all in all, it's a decent sendoff to one of the all time Metal greatest bands.

Thank you for all the music Dave, I really loved the journey.

Pretty much. Some complained that Dave didn't get somebody else on vocals, but... well... Megadeth is his child and it was only right for him to put it to rest personally.

What if…. what if he had a hired a vocalist all those years ago?

He may sound bad now but I like Dave's vocals historically. They've got character. I like weird vocalists though

He can definitely sing when he tries. A tout le Monde is the proof of that.
