hmm on first listen to the new one im with futures. massive step down from this EP. this EP is so full steam ahead and full of energy, new one is like 90% the same mid tempo chugs with the occasional cool lick or detail here and there. the lead guitar is buried way too far down. vocalist may not be a nonce but he's pretty one note. none of the features add much. hilariously the youtube copy leaves out the closer, which isnt awful in isolation but is so at odds with everything which came before. ill give it a few more tries and see if it clicks for me like this did

Never heard of these guys before, currently half way through the new one and the vocalist reminds me of cyb Oli a little bit. Album is alright so far but they're not really pulling up any trees or anything.

Was feeling a solid 3.5-4/5 until the last song which pulled it down a lot and makes me want to not listen to it again which might be for the best hearing they've got allegations against them.

their wording of 'stepping away' is always sketchy and leaves room he could return once the heatdies down. hopefully they can bounce back if the rest aint scummers, but if not this is an amazing crash course in how to kill a band over a weekend
