An absolute masterpiece. I first checked out this album a few years ago and thought it was cool but I was more interested in black metal at the time. Im glad I came back. Every song is exceptional.

Listening this in full for the first time, because the departure of Hansen and the OG drummer completely turned me off at the time...



Kiske is exceptional, not a huge fan of the music though, especially in view of euro power albums that followed shortly after (prime example: Scanner's Terminal Earth) or the Nordic power metal bands that emerged in the '90s (Stratovarius/Tad Morose).



The rhythm section sounds so monotonous to me right now...

Nice bump, funny because for some reason the track Halloween got stuck in my head all evening today. I have a great memory of listening to this at a beer garden in Munich shortly before heading over to Oktoberfest
