I will agree that that song is incredibly gay.

Colors is too lifeless.

This rings so true. I think Colors is great, seriously I do, and I probably just prefer it to this album but at the same time it lacks 'heart'.

They get better each album. Honestly.

Tommy's vocals own on Alaska/Colors. They do much less than own here. Same goes for his lyrics.

1.5? o_0

I find this to be their second best album under Colors.

I can't listen to it. I can barely choke through Mordecai, as awesome as it is.

Tommy just sounds so terrible.

The vocals are slightly better on Alaska but 1.5 for this and 4.5 for Alaska for that is just a bit much.

The chugging is the only thing on this. That's my problem.

They chug on all of their albums. I promise you Alaska has just about as much chugging as this.

Maybe the production is better on Alaska then, because I can hardly make out the riffs.

I've listened to it only on laptop speakers.

But even at that, the riffs on Alaska are way more melodic/interesting/coherent.

Maybe it will grow. I just really don't like much of it.

1.5 is pretty harsh, especially when you admit that you haven't even heard it properly.

I was going for 2, but my finger slipped. It is slightly less than average -- I can't listen to it without really needing to change the song. It is just garishly discordant and incoherent. I do enjoy Mordecai, and it is always a possibility that the rest will follow suit, but I've listened to it 5 - 7 times through, and it hasn't clicked at all.

I don't understand why you think it's so hard to hear. You probably downloaded a bad rip.

Data drive transfer from a friend who bought the physical CD.

Give me time. Maybe I'll be able to redeem myself in a month.
