Bloodbirds gets no love round these parts. Good thing the entire album is flawless, or i'd have to bust some caps.

I actually find the three part trilogy at the end to be the ultimate low point of the album, and the only thing preventing me from being able to give it a 5. It's just so boring and lazy...

This album would be so much better if the last three tracks could hold up to the standards of the earlier songs.

I quite like the way the last three tracks are, they're completely different from the first half too

This was pretty average, no where near as good as Pale Folklore.

I like this more than Pale Folklore but then again, I made the mistake in listening to their newer stuff first. I'm sure I would agree with everyone else if I started with that.

Even on its own, without earlier albums to compare with, this was pretty boring.

I don't know. Limbs and Falling Snow are ace. Our Fortress Is Burning II and III are also pretty rad. Good for a mellow Autumn day. I'm just curious to see what they do for the next album. If they make AATG part II with some minor improvements or what have you.

All of Agalloch's albums are great. I still think that Pale Folklore is the best one though.
