This album was fine, but a disappointment to me. Maybe a 3.5. Dissolving is supreme though.

I’ve always rather liked it. Ironically long winded, yet poetically poignant. Also fitting for their specific brand of emo, in the sense that I’m pretty sure I knew what they would sound like without ever hearing a single note

hi friends, here to recommend the new Topiary Creatures album...or really just them in general. probably the closest I've heard to TWIABP in general (a bit more electronic pop influenced in the vein of glass beach). new album Greenhouse Oubliette just dropped and it's a bit all over the place (in a fun way) but it's got some "heavy for an emo band" that reminded me of this. idk about this new one but their last, The Metaphysical Tech Support Hotline was produced by Chris Teti from TWIABP so there's also that (one of my faves from that year). so umm yeahhh, you're welcome.

still digesting but single, Nameless Darkness, is easily one of the best this year
