Don't understand the love for Glum. That vocal effect is nails on a chalkboard.

I don't like solo Haley.

This is the first solo effort of hers that I truly love. A totally different vibe than Paramore but I can appreciate both.

Petals gave us Sugar On The Rim so I'll always have a soft spot for it. Jammed that album so much during COVID.

definitely a mixed bag overall and a couple I would outright cut (Brotherly Hate & Discovery Channel) but I dig some of this, particularly Whim & True Believer. Parachute is also cool. This does have a habit of teasing a few would-be hooks without really delivering, which is a little off-putting. It's also probably pulling from a side of pop I don't much care for (admittedly, this could incorporate 95% of it). Still, this is the first solo Hayley I've checked out and it has a few nice moments, for sure.
