I had truly given up hope on ever seeing these guys live but to now see them with Converge means I can finally die happy

closest that tour gets to me is Baltimore. shame, but telling the south to eat shit is the objectively correct moral stance.

Still haven’t gotten around to checking these guys out (yet), but going to see them with PTW and Converge Wednesday. Looking forward to The Barbarians too many, pretty good shit from what I’ve heard!

What a goddamn line-up though, wow.

This is amazing and probably where I would start since I imagine they’ll mostly be pulling from this, but Only Love is legitimately one of the best rock albums of all time imo. ULTRAPOP got them the most mainstream attention, and I guess that fucking Cyberpunk track, but Only Love is one of the most forward thinking albums I’ve ever heard. Such an insanely good record. Perfect Saviors is where they really tried to go mainstream and is pretty much straight up an alt rock record, it’s fine for what it is but it’s absolutely their worst album. This one feels like a return to form and is most similar to Untitled imo

If you take only one thing from my comment… just listen to Only Love at some point.

The setlist for Denver actually only had two songs from this. They also played two from Ultrapop, one from Only Love, the Cyberpunk song, one from Spreading Joy, and one Punch cover. Pretty interesting and surprising setlist, especially seeing Spreading Joy in there. That was my introduction to the band way back when in 2012.

Also I back everything Wildcard said. I thought Only Love was mind blowing and would change the game and then… it didn’t. Then Ultrapop came out and I thought that was mind blowing and would change the game, and then… it didn’t. Perfect Saviors was meh but then this came out and was mind blowing but now I have no game being changed expectations. I just love this band. Seeing them on Tuesday, finally!
