I dig the cleans tbh, nice to have some vocal variety as opposed to TFP for example

Based on the description, this should have been a slam dunk for me. Atmospheric and Technical? Sign me up.
Instead, I'm walking away pretty underwhelmed tbh.

i think this one sits too far on the uncanny valley for me. the instrumentation is edited to point of sounding like every instrument is programmed and it lacks any grit at all. previous album was alright though

Band has always sucked yeah.

I always liked this band tho they've got this dreamy, airy vibe that's definitely unique

New Scalar Process album sounds a lot like Fallujah

Yeah I listened to this a bunch more and it hits. Great album. Does it reinvent the wheel? No, but who says every single album ever made has to reinvent the wheel? It's a great listen. Shreds while being fun and even a little catch at times. W.
|
| |
Maybe doesn't reinvent the wheel but for me it has pushed the genre forward if only slightly. I wish I could explain why better but it essentially boils down to it's a really good album
|
| |
Ya, I dig it and found it really fun on repeat listens.
