dunno why this is hated so much, as an alternative metal album this is really amazing. Good chunky riffs are found everywhere throughout the album

I guess it's just because people can't get over the fact that this is alt metal, not melodeath. It's not really that bad, and I bet if this was another bands album it wouldn't get knocked so much

Subterranean and Lunar Strain are the best, they are harder to understand/listen to for beginners but meh, The jesters race is the best album with anders on it. (imo)

really? i thought it was one of their most popular tracks. personally, i don't like it that much.

Yeah that's what I mean. They hate it because it was a popular song and made them more mainstream or something.

That's a good point styles; one track I've always enjoyed here that many fans don't is "Bottle" too. It's pretty simple, but the chorus is really catchy in my opinion.

Wow, this review has gotten a lot of love since I've been gone as Wikuk and returned as my new form O.o.



Anyway, I still love this album as much as I used to, proving that it wasn't a mayfly album. Also, Evil in a Closet owns yo mama.
