Dusk is definitely best, Midian close second. But agreed with Trif. Their first 5 releases are all some of the best symphonic black/gothic metal ever made and the recent 4 aren't far behind. And I'm partial to Thornography that one is a hard 5 for me too lol.

It's been nice to see the perspective shift. I feel like Cradle was one of many bands that took hate because it was "cool" at the time. Now people are wising up and realizing "wow, this actually rules!"

yeah I've talked about it elsewhere but even though I was intrigued by the Babylon AD video at the time (13 or so idk), the edgy weird girls at school all wore hot topic Cradle shirts endlessly and I wasn't sure about Victorian vampire / two-piece and top hat metal yet so I assumed that shit wasn't gonna be for me lol.



And then it seemed like I was right for the next twelve years or w/e. But Hammer changed all that, and they've been arguably my favorite band for years now. Been pretty amazing to be able to dig into a discog this deep with this many 10/10 rippers. It's basically the same as discovering Iron Maiden when Brave New World was released. So much good to hear.
