I’m glad their vocalist is finally just singing instead of trying his awful scream/sing that he has been doing for years. But his melodies are so cookie cutter it takes me out of it.
Architects always have had good guitar riffs

Whiplash is a perfect example. It starts awesome. Sick riff. Good production. Good rough vocals. Then it dips into this cookie cutter bring me the horizon vocal melody. Sorry, it’s obvious. And I will be a critic.
