I’m gonna prep myself with flame retardant and take it a step further and say this band was never special. They have been able to write occasional good choruses and or riffs, but they’ve always been pretty average 3-3.5 band for me. I never expect more or less

The End of Heartache is the exception for me. That is one of my fav core albums ever. The others I've heard are good but not close to my favs.

Discordant Nation, Aftermath, The Fall of Us are highlights, the drumming rocks, I loved them embracing some different melodies in parts too

Given that they’ve been at for over two decades, this album is great, how many of the metal from the 80s were pouring out comparable output in the 00s? And one could argue this is a much more demanding genre.
