I did not mean to comment twice so I’ll make this into something else. I was expecting Hell 99 to be the only heavy thing here but damn the first track was kind of a shock. The screams are soooooo good. Might be some of my favorite screamed vocals. There should be a screamo side project

Cry Baby reminded me of something and it drove me fucking mad but i think the vocal melody is kinda reminiscent of The Early November song "The Fool"? This is better tho. Damn im gonna listen the hell out of this record

This is FAR better than NMG. Im only at Barking but so far I am loving this album so much. It’s like what I figure NMG should’ve been. Cleaning and Barking are giving me even M83 vibes. Like back when M83 was good. Kinda been weird to get that itch scratched in a place I did not expect. lol. So far this is better than my expectations just because I’ve not truly cared a whole ton for their stuff since Dealer

The stretch from Cleaning to Gratitude is genuinely unbelievable. Just wow. Dead Cat brought it to a dead stop but honestly I can overlook it. It’s giving NMG vibes. Blah. But there’s so much good here that I’ll just have to set it aside
Yes, I will agree the dead duo can go. Ugh. Both are terrible.

I’m really teetering on a 4.5. I feel a 4 is a little low, but the last 4 tracks really brought this thing down. Hall of Frozen Heads is actually nice. Could’ve been a good closer if they’d have removed the dead duo and Cry Baby. But tracks 1-9 are absolutely 4.5 worthy and possibly beyond. At least they shoehorned in the weird stuff at the end

Im set at a 4.5 now but if that will lower or not depends on if my love for this will stick or waver but i cant see myself liking this less. With DDTM i have started liking it more with time

Dead Internet gets kinda cool at the end of the song but overall it is the most forgettable song on this together with Dead Cat. But who knows maybe it will click more with me later on
