Hey man, the first two Ensiferum albums were also fucking straight fire
I heard those back before the Wintersun album even came out, and I was obsessed

Never listened to Time I or to The Forest Seasons, TBH didn't even know Wintersun had released something after Time I.
Read this review and gave the album a listen with unbiased ears, I enjoyed it... Why are y'all complaining about the mix? Do you think you'd be able to spot 500 tracks or 300 instruments using a pair of headhphones? not even using a 3/5/7/) way speaker FFS.
Music is cool, nothing groundbreaking, but I wasn't expecting that, it's Wintersun.

"Forest Seasons and Time I are absolute dog vomit. I can see why people hate this but its honestly just a step below the s/t for me."
Exactly, just a step below S/T.
I don't the thee hate tho, I mean I see it, but don't understand it... is it against the man or the music?

I don't want to hear 500 layers but it would be cool if the blast beats didn't bury everything beneath them

this is gonna happen with blasts regardless of the band, that's why it's named a blast, there's a super fast kick drum and a wall made of bar chords, you're lucky if you can get a glimpse of the bass during a blast.

This seems fine? Lots of potential here but the production is overly busy in places. Still, it's crazy that Luca Turilli released like 15 albums that do the same thing in the same amount of time.

Is it just me or this project could have done with just the self-titled album and everything else is completely optional?

Not to be a nerd but traditional blast isn't really that fast on the kick

Not knowing much about the band and seeing the name “Jari” floating around, I assumed this is another side project of arguably my favorite musician of all time, Jari Lindholm. I think I’m gonna listen to some Enshine…

Maaaaybeee

well the main component of the blast is the snare, you can blast away without even having a double bass pedal, like converge did on jane doe a lot

just go listen to imperial circus dead decadence instead

jari wishes he could riff half as hard as the icdd guitarists

Weird comparison but yeah, latest ICDD destroys this
Actually nvm they're both symphonic melodeath/power metal lol, it's a valid comparison

Yep, this is a Wintersun album. Knocked down a peg because demo level production.

Calling an album time 2 is pretty funny really. It's like the universe starting over again. The heat death of the universe has occurred but wait... get ready for BIG BANG THE SEQUEL

Yes, I agree, but I meant this type of blast which is the one that pretty much all bands are including into their sound lately, don't get me wrong, I love them.
