I can somewhat understand the point the reviewer is making. This album can come off as monotonous to some considering how focused and pandering it can come across but I see it is as a strength. Completely disagree with almost everything said but I can’t argue there was a decent attempt in making a case, despite how unconvincing it may be

I would not call this dissonant, especially on repeat listens. This essentially is just a more enhanced atmospheric version of death metal. This has more post-metal than dissonant-metal influence
