This record is so all over the place but I love it, everything flows quite naturally
Lyrics from Blame's Burden are also something, wow.
Ending is also great. Top notch record imo, can agree with the 4.3 I guess

Yeah, not getting the hate on the cleans either. Agree with Jay on Kublai Khan too. Another band my brother adores but they don't do anything for me.
@nash - Life in Your Way isn't who I'm thinking of but these guys are pretty sick so thanks for showing them to me. I initially thought Misery Signals but that wasn't it.

I mostly like the cleans here, and I love the Easily Erased chorus, but that drop out wail that’s mega produced is def cringe lol.
L&G Life in your way rules! Definitely check Kingdoms and Waking Giants.
Only other person I occasionally hear from Matt is Vigil from TGI

the one section where it's just the cleans is pure erra worship

I like how this has a raw sound, but I feel like if that dirt was removed this would be normal ass genericore

Hell no man, honestly the sound is already genericore af. The random ass riffage and segment jumps are what makes this band. If you listen to the previous one the production is even more 'generic' and they still make something special.

This definitely has some genricore djun wees. I’m not mad at this though. The early to mid 2010s were long enough ago to actually make a sound like this nostalgic.

I mean yeah it obviously has solid genericore influences. Kinda feels like a mash-up album of all the cool breakdowns the genre had to offer if you think about it lol. But that fact makes this sound non-generic imo

I can see this argument as well. Funny thing is I did like the previous one quite a bit.

Oh yeah I'm now listening through their discography and I really like what I'm hearing. It's indeed a touch generic but it's also so random and there are so many good breakdowns. Awesome stuff

The first clean made me roll my eyes but ngl this quietly became more earwormy the more I let it sit. Quite enjoying it now which I didnt expect

I only have two gripes: the cleans in Easily Erased are awkward, should really be an octave lower and Matt Honeycutt's attempt at vocals in Blood Soaked Salvation makes me grasp for air due to how powerless and plainly awful those barfs sound.

I'm enjoying this, especially the more melodic tracks on here. Darkness Shared is awesome

The lyrics in Blames Burden and Inhale the Grief are real as fuck. Hope Matt is doing better these days.

Yeah, a lot of the lyrics are just emotional gut punches. Little bit of hope in that last line though.

Well sorta. Life will always be hard, but we get stronger.
