any chance this gets added to the database as a single release in compilations?

i ask that because it seems on both the band's spotify and bandcamp they just have both parts put together as one album. there seems to be no singular "part 2" you can buy or stream anywhere

Thanks Clavier! I hear it now. Guess I was half asleep when I was listening for it.

"We don't know who we are, we don't know where we are... Each of us woke up one moment."

I made a Playlist that makes you listen to them backwards. It kind of works too:

Phoenix V

Cooper Wasp

Infinity Beach

The Future As History: I Love You Dead

Phoenix III:Into The Vanishing Light

Introducing:The Rot Under the Sun

Phoenix:1.Rising. 2.Falling

From The Shadows Where I'm Low.

Kind of agree this should be singular in the database. It's confusing the way it is plus every streaming service labels it as one album anyways. Guess a lot of people would have to reevaluate their ratings to reflect both parts but I mean it's no big deal. Takes two seconds to change it lol

it simply means i am yet to see this band as deserving of anything better than a 3.5

but these 7 as a standalone project are cool at least

This is SO MUCH more repetitive than Gallery lol, that's 100% the issue with this (whole) album, it's also a lot more djenty and djent fucking sucks so

what i liked about this more than gallery was the way the sections more seamlessly flowed and breathed with each other. felt like there was more subtle shifting going on here

gallery felt like they had a cool riff and then theyd loop it like 8 times, until moving onto the next cool riff, and so on and so on and so on. in that way i think its (a lot) more structurally repetitive, which imo matters way more than a sheer high density of cool riffs because it makes all the riffs wear out fast and makes the record feel a lot less dynamic. thats just me tho i get y'all love it
