Actually having more luck warming up to this than Firepower! Really enjoying the title track right now. Love how the harmonies in the pre-chorus have a certain 70s Priest feel, and from 2:40 it's totally a Rapid Fire moment haha

How long can they keep going? I think this would be a nice send-off for the band, leaving in a blaze of glory. I dont personally appreciate the album but I know most do, and they already have a massive legacy behind them. Rob and co are seniors at this point (except Richie), and I just hate seeing bands who dont know when to stop even if I understand why. Just eventually settling on mediocrity until they physically cant go at it anymore is a worst fate than retiring on a high. Will they follow Iron Maiden, who seem resigned to continue their mediocre streak into the sunset?

It indeed fux, although I recommend listening to some of their older records (particularly Sad Wings, Stained Class, and Painkiller) for contextual reasons before diving into this one. Best to jam the classics first imo
