Looks like it! I had that happen with a dubstep record once and I ripped one of the songs and dropped it on a set lol

New album is tearing it the fuck up right now. More straightforward bm but absolutely vicious.

Yeah new album is rad. It's a lot more claustrophobic and stripped down with a lot fewer flourishes, but it's very well written and focused. Not sure if I like maximalist or minimalist Hulder more.

never listened to this release but her new one rules. will def be checking this out some other time but really digging verbolgen. really feels like classic black metal with great production and badass vocals

Hell yeah Hulder rules and puts on an awesome show! The new album is indeed really good, I think it's sitting at like a 4.2 for me but I think it'll slide upwards with a couple more listens.

I think the new one is actually really strong too on second listen. Two observations though:



It needs to be listened to in one sitting.



There's still a decent amount of cleans/layers/keys, but they're mixed way in the background. Interesting decision and maybe a bit of a misstep?
